Gloucester Branch of Bell Ringers

Gloucester Day 2024
As in previous year the Gloucester branch of bell ringers
have been asked to provide ringers to take part in the
ceremony held to commemorate the lifting of the Siege
of Gloucester in 1643. Ringers who take part in the
ceremony become members of the Ancient Society of
Crypt Youths.
This years ceremony took place on September 7th and
was well attended.
The ringers took part in two parades, a church service
where spurs were handing in and two lots of ringing at St
Mary de Crypt.
